My name is Simone Hartshorn, and I am a 33-year-old travel professional based in Lancashire, UK. I have had a strong passion for travel from a young age, which naturally led me into an enjoyable and rewarding career in the travel industry. Over the years, I have worked for major tour operators, gaining extensive experience in both long- and short-haul travel. My role has involved managing complex itineraries, handling bookings, amendments, cancellations, and answering a wide range of customer queries. I have also worked in high-end business travel, organising corporate trips that include flights, hotels, rail, and car hire, ensuring every detail is carefully arranged.

My knowledge and love for travel also come from my own personal experiences. Growing up, my family and I were fortunate to travel often, with many of our holidays spent in the United States. Over time, I developed a true passion for the USA, having visited some of its most iconic landmarks and destinations. Each time I return, I fall more in love with the country and everything it has to offer.

Now, I get to share that passion with my 4-year-old niece, who has already been lucky enough to visit the States with us several times. One of her favourite memories is Las Vegas—she still loves to sing “Viva Las Vegas” after our trip there. It just goes to show that Vegas isn’t only for adults, just as Orlando isn’t only for children. In my experience, the USA truly offers something for everyone, no matter their age, making it an incredibly special destination to explore again and again.
